I have a soft spot for the swirly stuff... the modulation pedals are part of the "trippy" sound I gravitate towards, so I've picked up a good number of them over time. I'm partial to phasers above and beyond the other mod effects, though I've never been able to explain why: flangers are okay and I've never really like chorus pedals, but I just really like the sound of phasers.
