The extended rig
Well, the live rig is a complete system-- these pedals don't play themselves. So I have my trusty Frankenstein Monster of a tenor feeding into my pedalboards, and out to a nice bass amp and 4x10 cabinet, and this is my standard live rig for my shows with ubik.
At home, I keep an mid-sized combo amp, just for personal use, as well as several basses... My playing in Ubik may be genetically mutated into something resembling "lead guitar," but I am a bass player by trade, and I play basses exclusively.
I don't actually own a guitar.
